The Zoom hearing will open for check-in 15 minutes before start time. Make sure you know how to join a Zoom hearing and test your microphone and camera ahead of time. The court’s website has a video tutorial on how to join a Zoom meeting, go to https://www.seatacwa.gov/government/municipal-court  and open the heading “Zoom hearing”.

You must be in a quiet, private/confidential space for duration of the hearing. Below are the hearing rules:

• The video function must be engaged for duration of hearing.
• You may not use a video or other distracting virtual background.
• No one may record proceedings.
• Participants will unmute themselves upon request to answer questions.
• If you are feeling ill the day of jury selection, please contact the court at 206-973-4610.
• You must be appropriately dressed.
• All cell phones or other electronic devices are prohibited.
• Please refrain from eating or drinking during jury questioning.
