City of SeaTac and Non-Discrimination

Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, and national origin in organizations receiving federal financial assistance. The City of SeaTac is committed to assuring equal access and non-discrimination according to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.

Streetscape & Gateway Ad Hoc Committee *Virtual Meeting*

The Ad Hoc Committee will review and provide input and recommendations regarding the “look and feel” of select urban streetscape elements and improvements within SeaTac.  Specifically, the Committee will provide recommendations to the City Council regarding:

  • Gateway treatments for the City and specific signage design;
  • Streetscape elements for Airport Station Area located within the City Center

This group will serve as an advisory committee and provide feedback and advice to the City Council. The group’s recommendations will be bought forward to initiate stakeholder outreach.

This Ad Hoc Committee is established in accordance with the City Council Administrative Procedures, Section 3. Council Committees and Representatives, The Mayor or a majority of the City Council may establish such Ad Hoc Committees as may be appropriate to consider special matters that require a special approach or emphasis. Such Ad Hoc Committees may be established and matters referred to them at Regular Council Meetings. The Mayor shall appoint Council representatives to intergovernmental Councils, Boards and Committees, including such Ad Hoc Committees.

Note: A quorum of the Council may be present (4 or more).

As this is an advisory committee, public comment will not be taken, but you can send questions to Awoodmass@seatacwa.gov
