To ensure pedestrian and traffic safety, the City will begin restricting parking along both shoulders of Military Road South between South 188th Street and South 229th Place.  New "No Parking" signs will be installed in phases through 2024 and 2025.

This will provide safety by:

  • Providing pedestrian walking routes along either side of Military Road South where sidewalks do not exist currently.
  • Ensuring proper site distances for vehicles entering Military Road South from driveways and side roads.
