ADA Transition Plan

The City of SeaTac Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan includes a Self-Evaluation Study which identified barriers with public rights-of-way to persons with disabilities from access (for example, at curb ramps, sidewalks, pedestrian crossings and signals, shared use trails, parking lots, and bus stops).

The City hired a consultant in the latter part of 2017 to conduct this Self-Evaluation and the study was completed in June 2018.

The study made several recommendations that the City is now implementing. The City is creating an ADA Transition Plan which outlines plans and times for making repairs and improvements to create access to the maximum extent feasible.
