If you are going to be out of town for a period of five (5) days or longer, the SeaTac Police Department provides vacation house checks.  This service is available  on weekdays only (no weekends or holidays) to SeaTac residents living in single family homes.  House checks are not conducted on homes that are occupied for any length of time during the homeowner's absence, and will not be available for homes that are vacant, for sale or for rent.

Please print and complete a House Check Request  form and return it to the address listed below prior to your departure:

PLEASE NOTE:

• For officer safety, we will not do a vacation house check if someone is staying on the premises.
• The SeaTac Police Department will make a reasonable attempt to check your property during your vacation based on available staffing.  However, circumstances may preclude us from performing this service on any day or perhaps, during the entire tenure of your vacation.
