About the Project

What is SeaTac's Transportation Master Plan? The Transportation Master Plan, or "TMP," implements the transportation goals and policies in the Transportation Element of the Comprehensive Plan and guides SeaTac's transportation investment and activities.

What are the Goals of the Transportation Master Plan Update Project? The main goals of the TMP Update Project include:

• Updating transportation plans for pedestrians, bicycles, vehicles/roadways, and freight, and
• Identifying short- and long- term projects and programs the City can fund to improve SeaTac's multi-modal transportation system.

Opportunities for Public Input

Upcoming Events & Ways to be Involved

• Future Events. Future public events will include virtual forums and other online polls, focus group meetings, in-person community workshops and others. Once dates for engagement activities are determined, they will be posted on this webpage.
• Planning Commission Meetings. The Planning Commission is the project's main community advisory group and generally receives monthly project briefings. Review materials can be found under "Planning Commission Documents" below. Information on upcoming Planning Commission meetings and agendas can be found on the City Calendar.
• Other Outreach. To ensure we hear from a range of community members, the project may hold interviews, focus groups or special meetings for residents and businesses who live or operate in different parts of the district. Information about those efforts can be found here.

Project Timeline

The Transportation Master Plan Update project timeline aligns with the Envision SeaTac 2044 Comprehensive Plan Update Project schedule, which ends by December 2024.
