Parking Survey Closed

Thanks to all who participated in the parking survey. Responses to the survey will significantly contribute to outcomes of the Citywide Parking Code Study. Findings from the survey will be posted on this website as soon as the project team has completed their analysis.

Background

The City funded the Citywide Parking Code Study in November 2022, to:

  • Assess current parking conditions and regulations within SeaTac's designated Urban Center (the Urban Center boundary encompasses most of the higher intensity zoned area along the International Boulevard corridor),
  • Assess some parking conditions in areas outside of the Urban Center, and
  • Identify potential code changes that could help reduce construction costs for desired development within the Urban Center, including new residential development, and limit impacts to adjacent neighborhoods.

The findings from the study will help inform changes to policies and codes to be updated as part of the City Center/Airport District subarea plan project, which is currently underway, and other code amendment processes that may emerge in the future.
