Welcome to the City of SeaTac

The City of SeaTac, a designated regional growth center, hosts more than 30+ based on brief 2021 “Fortune 1000” list review, including the corporate headquarters of Alaska Airlines and the Boeing spare parts facility. Businesses in the City generate annual taxable sales of more than $1.5 billion with an employment base of about 35,000 jobs.

In the City of SeaTac, where “every where’s possible,” opportunities abound for existing, prospective businesses, and potential developers alike. The City is proactively promoting mixed-use development opportunities in the areas surrounding the three light rail stations at South 200th Street, 176th Street, and 154th Streets that serve as catalysts for adjacent redevelopment.

Located within the City, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) is an economic driver of private sector growth. Among the top ten busiest airport in the country, Sea-Tac Airport +served 51.8 million passengers and transported 453,549 metric tons of cargo in 2019. Approximately 6,000 guest rooms within the City of SeaTac provide a constant stream of visitors that expand the market for local businesses. Downtown Seattle and the University of Washington are just short rides away on light rail, and with direct access to several freeways, the City is the ideal place for any business that depends on a multi-faceted transportation system to move people and products.

“I’ve had the opportunity to work with many cities and one thing I learned about the City of SeaTac is they have our goals and best interest in mind. They’re going to work very hard to ensure businesses are successful in this city.”
