Open House - Pedestrian Sidewalk Access Evaluation (ADA Transition Plan)

  • Introduction: Outlines the findings of the City's Self-Evaluation of identifying barriers on City sidewalks and within public rights-of-way to persons with disabilities.

This City of SeaTac is holding an Open House to present the results of a recent Americans with Disabilities (ADA) Self-Evaluation of sidewalks and other public rights-of way within SeaTac City Limits.  The Self-Evaluation identifies barriers to persons with disabilities from access to many services, facilities, public uses of public right-of-way.  Examples of areas studied include curb ramps, sidewalks, pedestrian crossing and signals, , bus stops, parking lots, and shared use trails, etc.)

An ADA Transition Plan will be recommended that outlines improvements to be made and a time-frame for these improvements.
