2017 National Night Out

  • Date: 08/01/2017 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Location: Various Neighborhood Communities

On Tuesday, August 1, 2017, neighborhood residents throughout SeaTac will participate in the 34th annual National Night Out, sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch.  NNO is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

Residents in neighborhoods throughout SeaTac and across the nation are asked to lock their doors, turn on outside lights and spend the evening outside with their neighbors.  Some neighborhoods host special events such as block parties, barbecues and visits from police.

For more information about this annual event, please visit the National Night Out website.  If you wish to sign up for National Night Out, please complete the registration form and return it to Community Crime Prevention Officer Cyndi Osborne.  Registration forms must be received at our office no later than Friday, July 21st.

If you have questions regarding this event, you may send an e-mail to:  cynthia.osborne@kingcounty.gov or call 206.973.4904.
