Open House - Lake to Sound Trail

Lake to Sound Trail Open House

Attend open house to learn about the Lake to Sound Trail.  The Lake to Sound Trail is a proposed 16-mile biking and walking trail linking the shoreline of Lake Wasington in Renton to the shore of Puget Sound in Des Moines.  The trail will connect five ciites (Tukwila, SeaTac, Renton, Burien, and Des Moines) and four major trails (the Cedar River, Green River, Westside and Des Moines Creek trails).  King County and the Cities of SeaTac and Burien are working together to design a 1.45 mile segment of the Lake to Sound Trail along Des Moines Memorial Drive from S 156th Street to S Normandy Road.  Come meet the project team and review early design concepts.  Contact: Jason Rich at 206.263.7314, jason.rich@kingcounty.gov.
