City of SeaTac and Non-Discrimination

Great SeaTac Scrub Down

We take pride in our city by picking up litter and removing graffiti, all while enjoying great food and dancing to great music! This event is free and promises to be a great day of community service and community connections.

EVENT SCHEDULE: 

9:00am - meet at Angle Lake Park to sign in, get safety materials (safety vests, litter pickers, garbage bags and/or graffiti removal tools) and have coffee and donuts. 

9:30am - Welcome speech and safety reminders

10:00am - Disperse in teams to different parts of the City to pick up litter or remove graffiti. 

12:00noon - Return back to angle lake park for a Catered lunch by Kulan Halal Deli from the International Market

1:00pm - Music by local favorite The Triple Treat Band! 

Here are some reminders for you before you show up;

  1. Wear closed toed shoes that are comfortable to walk in and have the kids bring a swim suit if they want to play in the splash park afterwards.  
  2. Arrive at Angle Lake Park,  19408 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA 98188, at 9:00 a.m.
  3. There is over-flow parking available at the Alaska Airlines headquarters. Please ask registration for the gate code
  4. Coffee, donuts and bagels will be available at registration. You will also pick up t-shirts, safety vests, gloves and garbage pickers at registration.
  5. We will load onto shuttle busses around 10:00 am to go to different locations throughout the City to pick up litter.
  6. We will return to Angle Lake Park around 12:00 noon to eat some delicious food prepared by the Khulan Deli.
  7. At 1 pm, the wonderfully popular, Triple Treat Band, will grace us with some music in the park.
  8. Be ready to meet new friends and build community. We are all in this together and together we can improve our world.
