Stakeholder Meeting - SeaTac Right of Way (ROW) Standards

Related to Frontage Improvements & ROW Dedication

  • Date: 09/29/2020 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
  • Location: *Hybrid Meeting*
    4800 S. 188th St., Council Chambers
    SeaTac, Washington 98188
  • Introduction: The City will be updating our Municipal Code regarding ROW Standards regarding frontage improvements and ROW Dedication prior to the end of this year, 2020. We are gathering as many comments from developers and stakeholders who would like to give their input.

As part of developing a new SeaTac Road Design Manual that will ultimately replace SeaTac Municipal Code (SMC) Title 11 standards where appropriate, Chapter 14 of the King County Code and the 2016 King County Road Standards, Public Works is recommending code changes affecting:  Frontage Improvements, Right of Way Dedication, Deferral of Improvements, and Right of Way Cross Section.

The proposed modifications to SMC will ensure that developers are able to obtain accurate information early in the project design phase regarding ROW dedication and improvements that may be required as part of their development.

If you would like to give input on these changes, please email Karen Spencer, kspencer@seatacwa.gov, for a stakeholder packet to review and comment on.

Please return comments by close of business September 30, 2020.
