• Washington Listens In response to COVID-19, Washington has launched a support program and phone line to help people manage elevated levels of stress due to the pandemic. • Find Financial Assistance through KCLS Find Financial Assistance is an information and referral service for anyone trying to locate financial support programs. Users can fill out a simple form describing their small business, nonprofit, personal, or career/education funding need, and library staff will respond with a custom list of relevant resources. Anyone is welcome to use the service; a KCLS library card or residence in our service area is not required. If you are a bartender who is unable to work and need financial assistance to cover basic needs, here is a grant opportunity offered by the U.S. Bartenders Guild .

The Plate Fund will provide $500 emergency relief grants to individuals in King County who have lost their jobs in the restaurant industry due to the COVID-19 crisis. Individuals can apply through a mobile-enabled website: www.theplatefund.com.

The Restaurant Workers' Community Foundation has created a COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund for individual workers and small businesses. If you need help, please email covidhelp@restaurantworkerscf.org.
